This year, the Thunderbirds are in Italy and where they go? The only exhibition in Jesolo! So what are we waiting? Jesolo…..ARRIVIAMO !!!!
So here we are here for a 2 days based on sea and air. The event takes place on the sea and the best place to enjoy it is from the shoreline. The hotel we booked it also offers an umbrella and 2 loungers on a private beach. You can not ask for more?
The weather is fabulous and allows you to enjoy the first swim of the season.
Participants Air Show are now classics: SAR Helicopter to open the dances, followed by some aerobatic airplane, from the Department of Experimental Flight (C 27, AMX, MB 339 e Eurofighter) and Frecce Tricolori. On this occasion, however, there are too: i Thunderbirds, l’Air Demonstration Squadron dell’USAF.
The last time I saw them in Aviano, in 2007. It's just gone 4 years time. Last time the weather was not much (see the report which) but this time is outstanding:total absence of clouds and blue sky with unlimited visibility.
The performances are passing quickly. Spectacular as usual C 27 che volteggia con la leggerezza di un Pitts e l’Eurofighter con ai comandi “Boff” Beltrame che lo tira con maestria. But the wait is all for them. When they appear 6 F 16 White feels a <<oooohhh>> wonder, Covered only by the roar of 6 Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 in full Military. Thanks to the generous performance of these engines in fact the Thunderbirds are very infrequent use of the AB during their program. The exhibition is, always eats, molto improntata sulla potenza e decisamente meno “tecnica” rispetto a quella delle blasonate pattuglie europee. Anyway I do not mind.
